Over the past seven and a half years, Aleksandra has dedicated her career to unwaveringly supporting students with disabilities at Royal Roads. 

Prior to this, she spent numerous years in the medical field, honing her ability to connect with and assist a diverse range of patients, each grappling with their unique disabilities. In a previous phase of her professional journey, she served as a journalist, actively covering a wide array of social issues, including those impacting individuals with disabilities.

Her academic background includes a Graduate Diploma in Conflict Analysis and Management. She is currently on the verge of completing a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies at RRU. This academic pursuit has allowed her to delve even deeper into understanding the complexities of disability issues and their intersections with broader societal challenges. 

With a profound sense of empathy and a wealth of professional skills, she is confident that she is the ideal candidate for this Committee. Her diverse experiences and educational background have equipped her with the knowledge and compassion necessary to contribute meaningfully to the shared goals.

In her role at RRU, she has had the privilege of witnessing the resilience and determination of students with disabilities firsthand. This experience has reinforced her commitment to advocacy and support. She believes that the combination of her extensive career background, academic pursuits, and empathetic nature align perfectly with the Committee's objectives. She eagerly anticipates the opportunity to collaborate with fellow members and collectively drive positive change in the realm of disability support and inclusion.

She expresses gratitude for being entrusted with this role and conveys her true honor and enthusiasm about the journey ahead.
