Area(s) of Expertise: Leadership Kim has worked extensively within the health care and government systems of British Columbia assisting senior leaders, teams and individuals to navigate the waters of change. Her work focuses on helping teams to identify and achieve their goals. Specifically, she works with teams that seek to define their visions for care and then to create strategic plans for implementing actions that will achieve these visions.
Kim’s strength is teaching people to apply change management strategies, to attend to the humanistic side of change and to create a path for moving forward. She is outcome-focused and at the same time, keenly aware of the need to apply the principles of due diligence to organizational change processes. Her expertise in storytelling facilitates interpersonal connections and creates safe environments where people openly explore how to move forward while living in cultures of complex and widespread change.
Currently Kim teaches in The School of Leadership, the MBA Program and Faculty of Tourism at Royal Roads University. She also does extensive consulting within the healthcare system, the government and Not-for-Profits.
Kim holds a Master of Arts degree from the School of Leadership at Royal Roads University. She has an undergraduate degree in mathematics and has completed extensive post-graduate work in Adult Education.
