My initial professional training in social work, focusing on group and community studies served as foundation for later studies leading toward an MBA degree and ultimately a doctorate in administration. The doctoral studies concentrated on Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management with research focusing on career change.
Industry experience was in the not-for-profit sector over a 16 year period where I held a variety of management and executive positions in a community based recreational and cultural organization.
Currently, I am an associate professor of management at Laurentian University where I teach organizational behaviour and related courses primarily at the graduate level. My current research interests include management development and education, managerial competence, and spirituality in management.
I have been an associate faculty member at Royal Roads University since 2000 and served as an OCP advisor on a number of projects.
