Suzanne Dane is the President and Managing Director of Resource Solutions Group Inc., a Victoria-based consulting firm that specializes in management consulting, strategic planning, community economic development, marketing, communication strategies and project/event management. She is an MBA Executive Management graduate, an entrepreneur and an experienced senior-level manager with over 25 years business experience across Canada and internationally. Suzanne’s experience spans both the corporate sectors (Office Manager of Canada’s 5th largest law firm) to the small business entrepreneurial sector where she has been responsible for the start-up of seven profitable businesses in Canada and the US, as well as providing consulting support and expertise to the small business community across B.C.

A management consultant with her own consultancy for the past 13 years, Suzanne has been involved in a variety of leading edge Canadian community development initiatives and events for both public and private sector. She brings a strategic focus and management skill to the development and implementation of programs and events, whether related to business, community economic development or fundraising.

Suzanne’s scope of work includes an international portfolio. She spent several months in Southeast Asia on a hosted speaking tour for the CanAsean Centre, working with international women in Business. In addition, she is currently Associate Faculty with Royal Roads University teaching management studies (classroom and distance) to MBA learners in Iran.

Suzanne keeps herself active in the community and sits on the executive of several boards and committees including Canadian Association of Management Consultants (Co-Chair Vancouver Island Chapter), Leadership Victoria and Volunteer Victoria. She is the founding organizer of the Alliance of Professional Associations (APA), an initiative to foster the development and collaboration of professional organizations, which is commanding national attention as a ground setting initiative. She spent seven years on the Executive of the YM-YWCA Women of Distinction, which she Chaired in 2002. Ms. Dane is an Award Recipient in Business Person of the year.
