Biography: Tanya Aindow is the Manager of the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management. Tanya is responsible for School finances and administration plus the day to day support of the faculty and learners. Skilled in logistics, finance and efficiency operations, Tanya brings more than 20 years experience of program and material planning in a number of diverse industries to the School, from planning and implementing the building of a fleet of development vehicles in support of a worldwide program for the Ford Motor Company, to assisting in the construction of one of the most prestigious hotels in the Caribbean.

Tanya then turned her interests to the academic world when she joined the Finance Department at Royal Roads University to manage the Professional Services Contracts for the institution. She was one of the first employees hired to the school where she was a leading force in the implementation and launch of the BA and MA in International Hotel Management.

Tanya lived and worked in England, Belgium and Barbados before deciding to emigrate and settle here in Victoria. Exploring different places is one of Tanya’s passions, and having visited over 30 countries has not quelled her desire to see more. She believes that the more you travel, the more you want to travel.
