For the first phase launch of our online donation tool, there are a limited number of "funds to donate to" under each theme. The selected funds have been chosen based on highest use, funds to create endowment, and donor groups.

Donate Online Now! to Robert Bateman Centre Funds:
Robert Bateman Centre Building Fund: much more than an art gallery, help support the design and construction of this innovative green building and natural landscape.
Robert Bateman Centre Programming Fund: support programming elements that will engage generations of students to reconnect with the wonder of nature around them and engage in dialogue to ensure a sustainable and viable future for all species.
Robert Bateman Centre Archives - Debra Barr Memorial Fund: Debra Barr was passionate about many things, but her focus before she passed was on the Robert Bateman Centre – in particular, putting in place the archival requirements with respect to the Bateman’s generous gift. We are committed to continue her good work. Our goal for this fund is to raise enough to name the archives room in the Robert Bateman Centre in memory of dear Debra.

General Unrestricted Fund: donations are used where needed most.
Wild Rose Alumni Impact Award: support Alberta-resident RRU applicants and join the efforts of the Calgary Alumni Branch who so kindly established this award.
MAPC/MAIIC Class Legacy Award: support, encourage and influence future students in the Master of Arts in Professional Communication (MAPC) and the Master of Arts in Intercultural and International Communication (MAIIC) programs. This fund was established by the 2006 learners in the MAPC and MAIIC programs with a goal to become endowed and live on in perpetuity!
Shirley Case Memorial Award: established by friends and family of Shirley Case, a graduate of the MA in Human Security and Peacebuilding (MAHSP) program and dedicated humanitarian. Shirley was an exemplary Canadian whose life was cut short while helping to build a better world for Afghani children and women. Her memory will live on through the Shirley Case Memorial Award that will support students in the MAHSP program at Royal Roads.

Donate Online Now! to Heritage Funds:
General Heritage: support the acquisition and maintenance of Hatley Castle and military and naval artifacts, the maintenance and enhancements of the historic grounds, gardens and buildings, and programs that help educate the public about the unique heritage of which we are proud to be a part. Costs associated with the restoration and enhancement of the heritage buildings and gardens are considerable, so we thank you for helping to fulfill a commitment to steward magical 565-acre Hatley Park for the enjoyment of generations to come.
Military Heritage: your support will help preserve, restore and celebrate our rich military and naval history. Recent projects include the restoration and installation of the mast, the Oral History project and restoration of the RRMC Honourary Degree recipients plaques.
Gardens and Grounds: your support will help maintain, restore and enhance the heritage buildings, grounds and gardens. Help fulfill a commitment to steward magical 565-acre Hatley Park for generations to come.
