The Royal Roads University Foundation was initiated in 1999 to secure charitable donations for Royal Roads University.
We simply couldn't achieve what we do without the generous support of our donors. Your contributions allow us to provide financial support to students who are determined to make a difference as leaders in their organizations and as citizens of our world. Your generosity allows us to live up to a commitment to empower people with the knowledge and ability to change behaviour and make the shift towards sustainable living. Your kindness helps us steward this magical place known as Hatley National Park.
In April of 2008, Royal Roads University launched its first capital campaign. The Legacy Campaign is focused on three themes:
- The Robert Bateman Centre and sustainability projects, including the Robert Bateman Centre for art and environmental education and projects that support initiatives outlined in our Sustainability Plan.
- Academic projects, including student awards, class legacy projects and other initiatives that support Royal Roads' commitment to leadership in academic innovation.
- Heritage projects, including the preservation and celebration of our rich naval and military heritage, and initiatives that support our commitment to ensure that the heritage buildings, grounds and gardens are restored and maintained for the enjoyment of many generations to come.
As Canada's only university for working professionals, the Royal Roads University Foundation is calling upon individuals, foundations and corporate donors to join us as we pursue an exciting mission to provide accessible, relevant, and high quality education and applied research within a framework of social and environmental responsibility.
