Royal Roads University Residences are centrally situated in the campus within walking distance of the conference centre, cafeteria, library and historic Hatley Castle. The residence buildings stand in the shadow of a Pacific rain forest and overlook the Strait of Juan de Fuca and distant glacier capped Olympic Mountains, offering stunning panoramic views from many of the single and double rooms.
Dorm Rooms

These 160 dorm rooms are furnished with a twin bed, sink, lamps, wardrobe, desk and a reading chair. Fully accessible central bathrooms are in close proximity to each room. Daily housekeeping service provides fresh towels and a quick refresh of your room. Each floor boasts a common lounge which offers either a forest or ocean view and is furnished with easy chairs, couches, cable TV, a fridge, microwave, coffee-maker, and kettle - ideal for relaxing and after-meeting mingling.
Standard Rooms cost $55 plus eight per cent hotel tax and six per cent GST.
Executive Suites
Located in the Nixon residence are 33 well appointed ensuite rooms, each containing a queen size bed, desk, sitting chairs, coffee table, and a full bathroom. Each room receives daily housekeeping service ensuring your room is exactly the way you found it when you first arrived.
Executive Suites cost $70 plus eight per cent hotel tax and six per cent GST.
Whether you enjoy hiking and jogging our forest trails or playing squash and going for a workout, Royal Roads University offers something for everyone. Discounted rates for the recreation centre at RRU may be arranged in advance for conference delegates, and if there is anything else you need during your stay, our staff is always available to help.
